The SECURE2 Annual General Meeting will take place on 18–19 May 2026 in Szczecin, Poland, bringing together project partners, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss the future of sustainable research careers in Europe. The two-day meeting will focus on the implementation of the European Framework for Research Careers (ERCF), institutional action plans, and collaboration across the European research ecosystem.
Organised within the framework of the SECURE2 project, the meeting will feature updates from project work packages, discussions on policy developments, exploitation activities, and presentations from sister projects. Representatives from the European Commission and partner organisations will contribute to sessions dedicated to strengthening research career development and mobility across Europe.
As part of the programme, SECURE2, together with Eurodoc, ICoRSA, and the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), will organise a dedicated workshop for researchers. The session aims to raise awareness of the Research Career Framework (RCF) and encourage discussion on how researchers across disciplines and career stages can contribute to its implementation at the institutional level.
The workshop will take place on:
18 May 2026, 16:45–17:45 CEST
Szczecin, Poland & online
Researchers interested in participating can register to attend onsite or online by 14 May through the official registration form.
Researchers from different disciplines and career stages are invited to join the discussion and contribute to shaping more sustainable and transparent research careers across Europe. The workshop will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss institutional challenges, and explore how the Research Career Framework can support career progression and mobility within the European Research Area.
SECURE2 aims to pilot and implement recommendations related to the European Framework for Research Careers in order to improve research career progression and mobility within research-performing and research-funding organisations. Through collaboration between institutions, policymakers, and researchers themselves, the project seeks to support more inclusive, attractive, and sustainable research careers across Europe.
