University of Cyprus (UCY)

The University of Cyprus is a public research university established in 1989 as the first university in Cyprus, based in the capital city of Nicosia. It has grown into a modern, diverse institution with around 7,000 students and a strong emphasis on teaching and research across its eight faculties and twenty-two departments. UCY is considered the leading university and most active research institution in Cyprus, contributing to education, innovation and socio-economic development at both national and international levels.
