The Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, together with the Center for the Promotion of Science, is organizing an informative event focused on ERC funding opportunities, all in collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Belgrade, the European Research Council (ERC), and the Horizon Europe project SECURE.
With SECURE contributing to this initiative, the event goal is to raise awareness about ERC grants, foster collaboration, and guide Serbian researchers interested in applying for these prestigious grants. The event “Pathway to ERC Grants: Empowering Researchers for Career Success,” will cover common questions, share best practices, and try to boost the involvement of Serbian researchers in ERC applications and projects.
Participants will hear from distinguished ERC grant recipients, funding experts, and representatives of the European Research Council through interactive discussions and networking sessions, providing valuable insights across scientific disciplines.
Attendees will gain:
- know-how from researchers who have successfully obtained ERC grants,
- improved understanding of the ERC application process through interactive sessions,
- access to resources designed to support strong grant proposals,
- opportunities to network with peers, potential collaborators, and ERC representatives.
This all-day event, will be held in Serbian language, on November 22nd, in the Rector’s Hall of the University of Belgrade (address: Studentski trg 1, 2nd floor). Registrations are open HERE.
